170 Erasmus agreements and 14 international conventions
Would you like a change of scene and see the world without putting your studies on hold? Then Mobility is for you!
UniNE strongly encourages you to do a part of your studies (1 or 2 semesters) in another university in Switzerland or abroad. To this end, the University regularly signs mobility agreements with other universities and offers administrative support for the preparation of your stay. Different types of financial aid are available: scholarships specific to your field of study, state-funded scholarships, etc.
A mobility placement forms a part of the student’s study programme. In terms of content and/or workload, courses taken at a different university replace all or part of those he would have taken had he remained at UniNE. During his mobility placement, the student remains enrolled at UniNE.
Exchanges in Switzerland and abroad
A mobility placement is usually made within the framework of an exchange programme or convention (Mobility CH, Erasmus or the Quebec exchange programme CREPUQ). Agreements also exist with universities and colleges in the United States, Australia, South America, etc. Exchanges can, however, be arranged independently of any program.
The University of Neuchatel is also a member of two cooperation networks (BeNeFri and Triangle Azur) which allow you to follow courses at other Swiss universities in the region (Universities of Bern, Freiburg, Geneva and Lausanne). Under certain conditions, travel expenses are reimbursed.
