Operating out of the University of Neuchâtel, the National Centre of Competence in Research Plant Survival
began its third phase of four years on April 1st, 2009.
This interdisciplinary network involves most of the universities and 'hautes écoles' in the country, as well as the Agroscope and other research institutions.
The projects range from essential research on the physiological processes inside the plants to studies on the plants' interactions within natural and agricultural ecosystems.
Our research topics are grouped in four main workpackages (WP):
-
WP 1: plant fitness and abiotic stress
-
WP 2: plant antagonists and mutualists
-
WP 3: invasive plants
-
WP 4: statistics and modelling
The National Centres of Competence in Research (NCCR) are a research instrument of the Swiss National Science Foundation.
