Research

PhD thesis combining the vegetation and soils studies and aiming to identify the evolutionary process of marshes and wet zones in the Swiss and French Haut-Jura.
First, the vegetation of these humid areas will be studied and will be compared to the vegetation described in the thesis of J.-D. Gallandat (1982). Then, the goal will be to identify all the factors that could be the causes of the observed changes of vegetation in these zones by studying soil and the humus forms.
