- Rôle de la matière organique et de la faune du sol dans la pédogenèse, plus particulièrement dans les processus de structuration du sol.
- Etude des activités biologiques dans les sols (vers de terre, microorganismes) et leur impact sur la redistribution, la disponibilité et le transfert des nutriments. Relations entre le système racinaire et la croissance des plantes. Article phosphore
- Sites ateliers choisis : les systèmes agricoles, les prairies permanentes et les plaines alluviales. Mise au point et utilisation de systèmes expérimentaux tels que les microcosmes et les rhizoboxes.
