Registration:

Registration is closed  (see deadlines).

Sorry, the deadline has passed (1 June 2009) and we have exceeded the maximum of participants that we can handle.

It is essential that you book your accommodation as soon as possible. We can't take any responsabilities if you don't find an hotel room. 

Conditions of cancellation

Cancellations are only accepted in written form by e-mail or letter. Cancellations received before July 1 2008 will be fully refunded, deducting an administrative charge of 50 CHF. Thereafter, refunds will not be possible. However, you can be replaced by another person without any additional costs.


Student travel awards:

Graduate student can register for the travel award competion by filling out the travel award application form , deadline 1 June 2009.

Talks and Posters:

In order to submit an abstract please fill out the submission form, deadline 1 June 2009.

Instructions for oral presentations

There will be 15 min. for each speaker (10 min. + 5 min. discussion). Keynote speakers will have 30 min (25 min. + 5 min. discussion). Please make sure to stay within the allotted time.
The conference rooms are equipped with a beamer and a Windows computer to allow PowerPoint presentations; (it will not be possible to use your own computer). We provide Office Version 2003 or 2007.  Macintosh computers will be available too. Please provide your PowerPoint oral presentations on a USB memory stick.
 
Speakers: Please come to the registration desk the day before your presentation to upload your talk to the computer.  Please don't arrive at the last minute!

Instructions for posters
 
Poster sessions are an important part of this conference. To ensure a maximum participation, the poster sessions will take place right after lunch. Coffee and sweets will be provided.
 
Authors: Please be with your poster at the scheduled time slot. Posters will have an individual ID Number (see program). The boards will be numbered and labeled with your ID. Posters will be attached with pins supplied by the organizers.

Size of your poster: Each poster presentation will be allocated one display board. The posters should be A0 format (120 cm high and 85 cm wide) and have to be in portrait format.
