Anne-Claire Michoux

Anne-Claire Michoux has recently completed an M.Litt at the University of Oxford entitled ‘“Acting a Part” in Jane Austen’s Fiction’, which explores the question of acting in Austen’s fiction through the  inclusion of contemporary acting theory in her novels.

Anne-Claire Michoux started a PhD at the University of Neuchâtel on the question of artifice in the late eighteenth- and early-nineteenth century novel, focusing on the works of Jane Austen, Frances Burney, and Maria Edgeworth.
