Dr Rahel Orgis holds a degree in English and American Literature, French Literature and French Linguistics from the University of Berne, as well as a grammar school teacher's certificate in English and French. In 2013 she completed her doctoral thesis entitled “Structured Proliferation: Readers and the Narrative Art of Lady Mary Wroth’s Urania” at the University of Neuchâtel, Switzerland, under the supervision of Professor Margaret Tudeau-Clayton.
Rahel Orgis is an experienced teacher both at grammar school and university level, and she has recently taught BA seminars on early modern English literature and introductory courses to English and American literature in general at the universities of Neuchâtel, Geneva and Lausanne. Her research interests include: early modern English literature, especially poetry and romance, and Lady Mary Wroth.
