Teaching activities:

At the Bachelor level we teach (lectures and pratical courses) biochemistry to all first year students in biology, geology, chemistry, pharmacy and medicine. In addition, we teach advanced biochemistry and molecular biology to second year biologists, phytopathology and cell biology to third year biologists.

At the Master level, we offer an MSc in functional biology, for which we teach cell biology and  phytopathology.

Our research projects are :

• biogenesis of vacuoles
• redox regulation in chloroplasts
• systemic resistance and priming in Arabidopsis
• downy mildew resistance in grapevine (NCCR projet)
• production of pharmaceutical proteins in plants (European project Pharma-Planta)
• second sphere of coordination (guest group from the Institute of chemistry)
